Secret Instructions of the Bön Tradition from
The Six Lamps and Profound Dzogchen Teachings

December 7-8, 2024
10 am-12pm; 2-4 pm
IN PERSON & ONLINE All Welcome!
Geshe will give teachings on the continuous external and internal luminous knowledge in the ancient Tibetan wisdom tradition, giving details of meditation practice for sessions. Practice is not only traditional sky gazing, but includes visual channels, wind, syllables, breaths and body exercises.
The main focus will be on the lamp of pure space, the lamp of the empty sphere, the lamp of radiance of awareness and the far-reaching water lamp. These actual places to practice with our body are included in the practice of luminosity. Energetic eyes transform into wisdom eyes and all phenomenon into luminous forms as ordinary form is exhausted.
This is helpful for individual darknesses such as trauma, stress, suffering, anger or ignorance that are produced by conceptualization. When infinite light emerges, unbelievable qualities can immediately be solved. An example is the many masters who have achieved the rainbow body in Tibet.

NAMKHA Teaching & Workshop

JOIN US TO LEARN ABOUT AND MAKE YOUR OWN THREAD-CROSS [NAMKHA].
SCHEDULE: short purification ritual, teaching, lunch and thread-cross workshop.

In the Bön and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions, the namkhas are constructed for elemental balance, an offering, or a dwelling for a deity during ritual practice. It’s traditionally made with colored threads symbolic of the elements—blue, green, red, white, and yellow; space, air, fire, water, and earth respectively. (You may have seen similar-looking indigenous works called God’s Eye).

Namkha means space in Tibetan. In the Himalayan regions of Zhang Zhung, the early biographies of Buddha Tonpa Shenrab tell of how, when traveling in Tibet to retrieve stolen horses, he taught the construction of thread-cross or namkha, as a way of making offerings to the deities.
