Fire pujas are rituals used to avert calamities, repay karmic debts, generate auspicious energy, and restore the vitality and energy of not just individuals but society as a whole and even re-balance the planet.
On Sunday March 29, Lakshey Zangpo Rinpoche and Dawa Drakpa will lead a fire puja at Twin Lakes State Beach at 5 pm. The text we will use was written by Padmasambhava. It is not a revealed treasure. The original text was written on the wall of Samye Monastery and edited by Dudjom Rinpoche.
The Divine Blue Water text is to cleanse pollution from the environment that causes war, famine, pandemics. There are few texts attributed to Padmasambhava directly. The opportunity of this practice for this time is...obvious.

Prophecies Series
Gesar Sadhana & Practices to Avert War & Generate Peace

Wednesdays / On-going
5:00 - 6:00 pm pacific time
In person & online
Gesar is unique in that he can be seen as guru, meditation deity, and protector.

Padmasambhava said that as times become more degenerate he would appear in the form of Gesar to help practitioners. Gesar is also seen as the embodiment of the three bodhisattvas Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara, and Vajrapani. These three teach and protect beings the realms of humans and beings on the earth, nagas and beings under the earth, and the gods or beings above the earth.

In past classes we focused on the guru yoga and protector prayers. In this series we will include this sadhana.

These practices are to prevent apocalyptic catastrophes as prophesied in sutra and tantra and create a spirit of peace and abundance conducive to spiritual practice and realization.
We also focus on Gesar practices to bring abundance, raise merit and lung ta or windhorse (klung rta). Mipham wrote many prayers and practices which help with our every day lives as well as social well-being and environmental restoration. Mipham's works are treasures (gter) from the enlightened intention of Padmasambhava and Manjushri. They are so highly regarded because they encompass the full range of Buddhist practice from the foundation to practices of the great perfection.
